I started my academic career as a Communication Design major and while taking an intro 3D ceramic course someone made the mistake of showing me how to throw on the wheel and the rest is history. I believe my second major has sharpened my eye for utilitarian design and thinking about 3D forms and space.

I’ve approached design the same way I’ve approached skateboarding since childhood. The perfect trick is simple, beautiful, and appears seamless but behind it actually strategic thinking, creativity, failing, dedication, and finding the courage to get back up and approach the trick in a new way until I succeed.
